Back to School...

School has officially begun! Although I don't have

kids going back to school my brothers and my mom

went back. Ryan is in 6th grade, Matt is a Senior and

my mom is a secretary at Davis Elementary. I can't

believe my "little" brothers aren't little anymore!

Every year for back to school my mom would make us

back to school cookies and little goody bags with gum,

tick tacks, and mints, then when we got home from school

she would always have a plate of warm back to school cookies!

So this year since my mom works at a school now I thought

that she deserved some back to school treats along with my

cute brothers. I made these adorable back to school "apple"

Cupcakes, aren't they just to DIE for!

It was so nice knowing that no matter what kind of day we had

at school we always had a loving family to come home

to! This means more to me now than ever! Thanks Mom and

Dad for such a great childhood!I have SO many fond memories

that I will always cherish! Happy Back to School Everyone!

Confessions of a Shopaholic or should I say FRUGALISTA!!

So here is the Deal... My cousin's Rachel and

Heather told me about this Smith's Coupon Event.

The word "coupon" in itself had me from the

beginning! I am a FRUGALISTA at heart,

and i'm ADDICTED to coupon's. Anyway, Smith's

had this "coupon event" and every manufacture

coupon under $1 was automatically made $1 off

so if your coupon was .25 off it's now $1,

.50 now $1 etc. Plus you can download coupons

onto your Fresh Values card right off their website,

so as soon as you swipe your card it automatically

takes off those deals. AKA "STACKING" coupons.

Me and my mom took the challenge to get some

sweet deals at Smith's and here is how we did.....

16 pk double rolls Charmin toilet paper

1 large container Yoplait Strawberry yogurt

3 Fuze drinks

2 Sobe life waters

1 large pk Bisquick

1 Large bottle liquid Tide

1 bottle of Downy

1 bottle aroma therapy Palmolive Dish soap

1 pk Ronzoni pasta

2 (12 oz) cans Carnation evaporated milk

1 bottle Ivory body wash

1 LARGE bottle arm and hammer cleaner

1 soft soap pump soap

1 lady's speed stick deodorant

2 big bottles old spice mens body wash

2 boxes of 20 count Tampax pearl tampons

1 bottle Jack Daniels BBQ sauce

2 bottles of shampoo ( Food storage)

2 bottles of conditioner ( Food storage)

NO WAY AM I PUTTING PUREOLOGY IN MY STORAGE!

and last but not least 1 pk of Orbit gum

Total Cost: $35.94

Total Saved $43.08

Me and my mom had fun shopping for these

SWEET deals! There is nothing better than

the feeling of SAVING MONEY!

SuMmEr.....

We have been Super busy this

Summer! We have spent many days

at the ballpark, had lots of BBQ's, and most

of all just spent lots of time with family!

4TH of July treats, I made this Angel food cake,

with Berries and pineapple, orange cream sauce.

I was the chef that day, usually the guys end up

making shiska BURNT'S! hahaha

My mom made this awesome cake, when you

cut it open each slice looked like an AMERICAN

flag! So crafty...

Me, my mom, and my grams. Love them so much!

We have had a great summer so far! It is flying by

and I know before we know it I will be posting about

Candy apple making and pumpkin carving. And to

be honest with you I'm SUPER excited for that too,

ALREADY! Hope you all are having a fun summer too!

It's time to celebrate!

Anniversary #3!

On June 8 it was our 3rd anniversary. We went

to Red Canyon Lodge, ate dinner, and fished on

the peddle boats. I forget how beautiful Red

Canyon Lodge is! We had a great time and were

just happy to be together. Here are some pics...

We got laughing after I reeled this little guy in,

it was a tiger trout so he was really cool looking

but obviously TINY!!!

So after that good laugh I reeled in this mama!

Image us out on the middle of the lake, in a peddle

boat trying to get this off my line... let's just say we

almost tipped the boat over, we were laughing so hard

we about died.

We seen this HUGE beaver! Did I mention i'm

scared to death of beavers I don't know why

but you should have seen how fast I was peddling

that peddle boat!

I am so happy to be married to my best friend

in the whole world. Me and Jason have so much

fun together, I can honestly say that these past 3

years have been some of the best years of my life!

Jason, I love you with all my heart. Thanks for making

Happy Birthday to ME!!!!!!!

June 6th was my birthday, and we went to Heber on the 5th

for Ryan's baseball tournament and then we went into Park City and

ate dinner. My birthday was on a Sunday this year, so we

just had a little BBQ and spent time with family! I am officially 22~

or as Jason calls me, his little double deuce! I think this year is going

to be great! Here are some birthday weekend pics!

Let's just say we enjoyed the SUN, maybe a little

too much!

I blew out all the candles, hope my wish comes

true!

Me and Jas made the cake, it was lemon creme

and sooo delish! Jason helped with the icing and

decorating.

I got 2 of those cute red Adirondack chairs I'm

sitting in! I love them they are so cute in my front

yard under my big tree!

Summer Dishes..

Me and my hubby, love him so much!

He got me the full Calphalon 10 peice cook wear

set! They are amazing, the first thing I did was cook

and egg, when I slid it onto my plate the pan still looked

clean!!! Calphalon..... a wifes dream!

I had such a great birthday! I couldn't have wanted

anything more than spending time with my fam, every

year just keeps getting better and better! 22... here's to you!

This is my life, it is good... it is oh so good!

I seen this video and had to share it with everyone! In light of Mother's day may we all remember the true meaning why mother's are sent to earth. I am so thankful for a mother (and father) who raised me in the gospel, and who gave me such wonderful childhood. I don't think I've ever been so grateful in my life for this as I am today! I love how in this video she says that motherhood is a privilege, that beauty and motherhood are one. There is a plan for us!....... "When suffering we may In fact be nearer to God then we have ever been in our lives. The Lord has promised, I will go before your face, I will be on your right hand and on your left. My spirit shall be in your hearts and mine angels round about you to bear you up. This is especially true in times of trouble. That is an everlasting declaration of God's love and care for us including and perhaps especially in times of trouble."

May we all remember this special message in happy times and in hard times. May we always keep close to us the spiritual and sacred role of motherhood!

Thank you mom for being the best mother in the world! I love you more than you can ever imagine. Thank you for giving me life and for giving me the chance to be your daughter. I Love You!
