Weekend Getaway...

We finally got out of town for a little weekend getaway!

It was so nice to take a few days off of work to spend time with

Jason. We just went overnight, and went shopping and ate

lots of good food! Friday we went to the Gateway and bought

our elliptical! I love the Gateway in the spring it is perfect weather

and all of the tulips are in bloom and the leaves are starting to form

on the trees. Saturday we went to Orem to watch Ryan play baseball

and then headed home. Here are some of the things we did while

we were there.

We stayed at the Little America.

shopping, especially at the Gateway!

We ate breakfast at Paradise Bakery they have

the most AMAZING muffins ever.

We got some yummy frozen yogurt from

Juicy Berry. They have a wall of frozen yogurt

and then all kinds of fresh fruit and chocolate

toppings to put in it.

Oh yeah, didn't get a picture, but we went to Nickelmania!

It's a huge nickel arcade that had every game you could think

of! It was a lot of fun I felt like a kid again with my baggie of nickels

and my handful of tickets!

I'm so lucky to have a husband like Jason. We have so much fun together!

EaStEr TrEaTs!!!

Today was my day off, and I spent the whole day

getting ready for Easter. I went shopping for

Jason's basket, got a card and made these adorable

treats! These are cake balls decorated like easter eggs

and chicks! I had so much fun making these little

cheery things! Happy Easter Everyone!

Every time I looked at this little guy I would just

laugh! He is so dang cute!

And then I had to sample.... Sad but delicious!

There is cake filling with white chocolate coating!

YUM!

My next project were these little rice krispie

nests with Cadberry Eggs and a cute little mama

peep on top.

I think I will put my treats in this....

I just love Easter!
